[1] Note that these acronyms, JVM, JDK and JRE, are sometimes used interchangeably when specifying the version number.  So JVM 1.1.8, JDK 1.1.8, and JRE 1.1.8 essentially refer to the same thing, although technically the JVM describes the entire “Virtual Machine” environment within which Java runs, JDK is the “Development Kit” for creating Java programs, and “JRE” is the “Runtime Environment” for running Java programs.)

[2] The manipulation of the startup menu (i.e. adding and deleting quick launch items) proved to be incompatible with some NT, 2000, and XP setups that did not log in as a privileged Administrator. 

[3] Note CROME takes care of the traditional SQL aggregation functions like MIN() and MAX() under the hold depending upon the "report filter" applied to any report definition when creating a report.
